September 23, 2022: Medical technology company Thornhill Medical ranked as one of Canada’s Top 10 Growing Companies by the Globe and Mail
Toronto, ON — Medical technology innovator, Thornhill Medical, is pleased to announce it has risen to the 10th spot of 430 companies on the 2022 Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies, based on verified three-year revenue growth of more than 2,500 per cent.
2022 marks the third consecutive year that Thornhill Medical has been recognized by the Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies. The medical technology company has quickly moved up the list, debuting at #62 in 2020, rising to #40 in 2021, achieving Top 10 in this year’s ranking.
Thornhill Medical’s explosive growth builds on a foundation of research and development giving rise to advanced medical technologies that are more and more relevant in today’s challenging world. Thornhill Medical innovations specifically address the extreme care environments increasingly facing military and civilian health care providers as they care for the critically injured. This was demonstrated most recently as Thornhill Medical provided humanitarian and military medical support to Ukraine through a donation of its mobile life-support system MOVES® SLC™ and mobile anesthesia delivery module MADM™, along with surgical and combat casualty care expertise and mentoring for Ukraine surgeons, medical residents and anesthesiologists.
“We are honoured to have been recognized as a top growing company for a third consecutive year and delighted to have risen in rank,” says Thornhill Medical’s CEO Lesley Gouldie. “Our growth is a testament to the passion and commitment of our Canadian and US-based teams, and global partners, who are committed to our mission of advancing life saving health technology. We are equally indebted to our customers who are the true north of our work, always making us better as we strive to help them save lives.”
